Terms And ConditionsThis section explains the basic terms and conditions on the use and streaming of GalacNet’s services to the internet community 1) Acceptance to Terms By the use of the Products and Services present on GalacNet, you acknowledge that you agree, without limitation or be bound by, and are to comply to, these stated Terms and Conditions and any Guidelines or rules that are applicable any GalacNet Cluster Sites. You can access the Terms and Agreement at any time through this URL. http://www.galacnet.com/terms.php 2) Description of Service GalacNet, GalacNetworks, GalacForums, GalacMail GalacValley, GalacNode, gVale and all her sister sites will be termed as GalacNet in this Terms and Conditions section for easy reference. GalacNet provides the internet community with a wide range of tools and services to enhance their web surfing experience and all resources are subject to this Terms and Conditions. Use of these services would require a user to have access to the Internet either directly or any medium, paid or free. Cost of these equipment and service connections are sole responsibility of the user. 3) Registration Obligations Use of any service on GalacNet would require you to enter and provide a) True and updated information of yourself or any information that is requested at the time of registration or during the course of your participation and use of GalacNet’s resources and services. b) Maintain an up to date registry information as prompted by GalacNet. c) Understand that such registration requires you to receive announcements or administrative messages that you will NOT be able to opt out off unless at the termination of the service that is provided 4) User / Member Conduct All members or users of GalacNet’s services are to understand that any or all information, data, text, sound, photographs, graphics, vides, messages or any other similar materials that is transferred from one source to another are the sole responsibility of the person where these content are transmitted. GalacNet is not responsible for any of these content as GalacNet does not control any of the Content that is being transmitted or sent from the source. You are to understand that by using the services provided that you would be exposed to content that may or may not be offensive or indecent in nature. All Users and Members are to agree that the service is NOT used to : a) Upload, post or transmit any content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, harassing, abusive, vulgar, intrusive of anyone’s privacy, hateful, racist, unethical or otherwise objectionable in nature ; b) Harm minors ; c) Use of the service to impersonate any person or entity ; d) Upload, post or transmit any content that you do not have any right to transmit ; e) Upload, post or transmit any content that infringes any patent, trademark, trade secret, copyright or other propriety rights of any party ; f) Upload, post or transmit any content or materials that are deemed to be unsolicited or unauthorized advertising promotion of non existence materials, “junk mail”, “Spam”, “chain mail”, “pyramid schemes” or any other related form except for areas of the service that are designated for such a purpose. g) Upload, post or transmit any content or material that contains software viruses or any other form of code, either technical or non-technical in nature that would cause or are designed to interrupt, destroy, limit, annoy, disrupt or forcefully change the functionality of any computer software, hardware and any equipment that is used to provide this service, allow a user to access this service or harm any related structure or entity. h) Disrupt the service in anyway, where it would negatively affect other user’s ability to access or use GalacNet’s service. i) Interfere with or disrupt GalacNet’s servers or any related equipment. j) Harassment to any individual k) Collection of information that is deemed as personal and/or undisclosed information of any user or member on the network. l) Promote or provide access to any material, content of guides that would be deemed as illegal, promotion of harm to individuals or injury to any group or entity or promote cruelty to animals. m) Use of any service as a “dump” site, doorway page or off link site, this however does not limit to the use of the provided Download Servers for upload and download of such services. n) Upload, post or transmit any advertising without prior approval to GalacNet’s managing staff. 5) Submitted Content GalacNet does not claim any ownership to any of the content that is submitted to her servers. Submission of content to GalacNet you agree to provide the internet community world-wide, royalty-free and non-exclusive license to reproduce, modify, adapt and to publish the content for the sole purpose of display, distribution or promotion of your site or service area. 6) Indemnity By using or access any of the service or content on GalacNet that you agree to indemnity and hold GalacNet and her subsidiaries, affiliates, staff, officers, agents or any other related personnel and entities, harmless to any form of claim or demand, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, made by any third party due to the content post or run by your site or being transmitted by you, your use of the service provided, connection to GalacNet, violation of the Terms and Agreement or your violation of any rights of another individual, group or entity. 7) Resale and repackage of Services You are to agree that you will not reproduce, duplicate sell, resell, copy, or exploit the service provided, use of the Service or any access to the Service. 8) Modifications to the Service GalacNet reserves the right to modify at any time and or from time to time the service that is provided. This can include, modification, discontinuity either temporarily or permanently with or without notice. You are also to agree that GalacNet is not responsible to liable to you or any third party for any of the modification, suspension or discontinuity of the Service provided. This would also include termination of your site or suspension of your login to the Service. 9) External linking GalacNet is not responsible for any third party or external linking from our member sites to any other website. GalacNet is not liable to any of the information, data or content that are generated by these sites, which can or may be harmful to an individual or entity. 10) Disclaimer of Warranties At the use of the Services provided by GalacNet you are to understand and agree that : a) Your use of the Service is at your own sole risk and the Service is provided on a “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis. GalacNet expressly disclaims all warranties of any nature. b) GalacNet make no warranty that the service will meet your requirements c) GalacNet does not ensure or provide any guarantee that the service would not be interrupted in anyway d) Results or information that is obtained from the Service to be accurate or reliable. e) Quality of any provided service, product or purchased material through the Service to meet up to your requirements. f) GalacNet makes no warranty that any software error be corrected. g) No advice or information, whether oral or written, obtained by you from GalacNet or any representing individual or entity to create any warranty that is not expressly stated in this Terms and Agreement. 11) Limitation of Warranties You are to understand and agree that GalacNet is not liable for any direct indirect, incidental, special, or any related damages to you or any third party for the use of this Service, even if GalacNet has been advised on this. 12) Copyrights GalacNet respects the intellectual property of others and all members and users to do the same. Refer to section 4 for details of use and conduct on such materials. 13) Violations to the Service Any violation are to be forwarded to the WebMaster at webmaster@galacnet.com .
